We would like to thank our charitable partners and the generous donations they make, supporting excellent nursing care for people in homes and communities.

The National Garden Scheme

The National Garden Scheme has been supporting the QICN since 1927.  Thousands of private gardens open for the National Garden Scheme every year and together they generate an annual total of around £3.5m. So by visiting an open garden, you can not only enjoy an interesting day out, but also raise vital funds for community nursing.

In total over the last 10 years, the National Garden Scheme has donated over £20 million to nursing and caring charities.

The Burdett Trust for Nursing

The Burdett Trust is a major supporter of our policy and innovation work. The Trust has funded a range of projects, including:

  • A project to improve care for young people moving from children’s to adults’ community health services, for example, those with illnesses such as Type 1 Diabetes.
  • A project to improve the health of male patients, through our Fund for Innovation and Leadership programme.

The Hertfordshire Community Nurses Charity

This HCNC provides a range of support to community nurses in that county.
