Professor Olga Yakusheva is an economist and Professor of Nursing at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and Economics Editor for the International Journal of Nursing Studies.
With degrees in mathematics and economics and post-doctoral training at Yale, she is internationally recognised for her research on the economic value of nursing and its impact on health and organisational outcomes. Olga is an Honorary Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She co-directs the ANA’s “Framing and Articulating the Economic Value of Nursing” initiative and leads national research on optimising nursing care delivery.
Olga became a Fellow of the QICN in 2025.
