Jeremy Taylor is a senior leader with extensive public and charity sector experience. He is a national expert on patient and public involvement in health.
From 2020 until December 2025 he was Director for Public Voice at the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), where he led NIHR’s work on partnerships with the public and translating research evidence into policy and practice.
Previously he was chief executive of National Voices, which he helped to establish as the leading coalition of health and social care charities in England. It works to strengthen the voice of patients, service users, carers, their families, and the voluntary organisations that work for them.
Jeremy was awarded the OBE in the 2019 New Year’s Honours List for services to health and care charities. Earlier in his career he was a senior civil servant in HM Treasury.
