Nursing in the Digital and AI Era
11 February 2026
We are delighted to have partnered with Accurx to deliver a six-session training programme designed for nurses in leadership and transformation roles.
The programme aims to build shared confidence, skills and vision for the future of digital nursing in the AI era.
Digital capability is no longer an optional skill — it is central to effective leadership. Nurses must play a leading role in shaping the future of health technology, ensuring it enhances, rather than defines, the profession.
Who is it for?
This programme is open to nurses at all levels and across all care settings — including acute, community, mental health and general practice nursing. It will be particularly relevant for:
- Chief Nursing Information Officers
- Digital Nurse Leaders
- Heads of Service
- Nurses involved in digital transformation or pilot programmes
- Participants who complete all six sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Themes and Questions
- What digital capabilities should every nurse leader now develop?
- How can we safeguard professional values in an AI-enabled future?
- How can nurses influence technology to improve care as well as efficiency?
- How do we protect the human connection at the heart of nursing in an increasingly digital world?
- What does “being present” mean when more care takes place remotely or asynchronously?
- How can we ensure technology strengthens, rather than replaces, therapeutic relationships?
